## Longarm Quilting Services

This listing is for longarm quilting services, including:

- Edge-to-Edge (E2E) Quilting (.025¢ per sq. inch)
- Edge-to-Edge Quilting with Custom Borders (.030¢ per sq. inch)
- Custom Block Quilting with Custom Borders (.035¢ per sq. inch)
- Additional custom quilting options by request

All quilt sizes are welcome!

Your quilt will be completed in my home sewing studio in Ocala, Florida, using professional longarm quilting equipment and computerized quilting technology. I offer a variety of quilting patterns, thread colors, and designs to complement your quilt top and bring your creative vision to life.

My studio is maintained with care, and my equipment and workspace are cleaned between projects. Briar Hill Studio is a smoke-free, pet-friendly environment.

As a quilter myself, I understand that trusting someone else with your finished quilt top is a big step. I treat every quilt as if it were my own and believe communication is essential throughout the process. Please never hesitate to ask questions. No question is too small, and I want you to feel comfortable and confident from the moment your quilt arrives until it is safely back in your hands.

## Turnaround Time

Normal turnaround time averages approximately **2–4 weeks**, depending on the time of year and current workload. Turnaround times may vary, and I will communicate any anticipated delays.

Rush services may be available for an additional fee. Please contact me before purchasing if you have a specific deadline.

## What You Need to Provide

**Quilt Top:** Your finished quilt top, pressed and ready for quilting.

**Backing Fabric:** Please provide backing fabric that is at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top on EACH side (8 inches total in both width and length).

**Batting:** You may provide your own batting or purchase batting through Briar Hill Studio, subject to availability. If providing your own batting, please ensure it is at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top on each side.

**Binding:** If you would like me to finish your quilt with binding, I can provide that service for an additional charge. You will need to supply the binding fabric unless otherwise arranged.

Detailed preparation and shipping instructions will be provided when your order is confirmed.

## Quilting Rates

Quilting costs are calculated based on the finished quilt dimensions (width × length) and the selected quilting style.

Final pricing will be confirmed once I receive your quilt dimensions and quilting preferences.

## Additional Services & Fees

**Batting**
Briar Hill Studio can provide batting at an additional cost.
-100% cotton Warm and Natural is .004¢ per sq/inch.
-Hobbs 80/20 is .003¢ per sq/inch.

**Backing Preparation**
Backing costs if shipping material un-prepared (cut, sew, press) is $10 (all sizes). Please message me if you are unsure how much material to ship (this also needs to be 4-inches larger than the quilt top on each side).

**Thread**

I offer a variety of quality quilting threads and colors to complement your project. Standard thread colors are included in the quilting price. Specialty, variegated, or customer-requested threads may incur an additional charge. I use Omni and Superior threads (2 ply poly-wrapped solid colors).

You are welcome to request a particular thread color. I will work with you to select the best option for your quilt.

**Binding Services**
Binding services are available for an additional charge, calculated by the linear foot.
- Prepared binding supplied by customer: $0.50 per linear foot.
- Binding requiring cutting, pressing, and preparation: $1.00 per linear foot.

**Quilt Repairs & Adjustments**
Occasionally, a quilt may need minor adjustments before quilting, such as correcting twisted seams, excessive fullness, or other issues that could affect the finished appearance.

If I identify anything that needs attention, I will contact you before making any changes. Any additional work or associated fees will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

## How the Ordering Process Works

**Step 1 – Reserve Your Spot**

Purchase this listing to reserve your place in the Briar Hill Studio longarm quilting queue. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required and will be applied toward your final invoice.

**Step 2 – Complete Your Intake Forms**

After your order is placed, I will send you the following digital forms and resources:

- Longarm Quilting Intake Form
- Quilt Preparation & Shipping Instructions
- Quilting Pattern Library
- Thread Color Selection Guide
- Quilting Service Agreement

These forms will help me understand your preferences and ensure we are on the same page before quilting begins.

**Step 3 – Send Your Quilt**

Once your intake forms are complete, you can arrange to ship or deliver your quilt to Briar Hill Studio in Ocala, Florida.

Shipping costs to and from the studio are the customer's responsibility. Local drop-off and pickup may be arranged by appointment.

**Step 4 – Quilting Your Project**

Once your quilt arrives, I will review it, confirm the quilting design and thread selections, and contact you if I have any questions.

Your quilt will then be loaded onto the longarm and quilted with care.

**Step 5 – Final Invoice & Return**

When your quilt is complete, I will contact you with the final invoice, including any approved additional services and return shipping costs.

Once payment is received, your finished quilt will be carefully packaged and returned to you.

## A Few Important Details

- Deposits are non-refundable once the quilting appointment has been reserved and the quilt has entered the production process.
- Final quilting costs are based on actual quilt measurements and the services selected.
- Return shipping will be calculated based on package size, weight, and destination.
- Please allow additional time for shipping when planning around gift-giving occasions or special events.
- Rush services must be approved in advance.
- No additional repairs or services will be performed without your approval.
