My love of sewing began as a little girl sitting beside my grandmother, who patiently taught me how to sew by making clothes for my dolls. Those afternoons sparked a lifelong passion for creating with fabric and thread.
As I grew older, that passion followed me through high school, where I spent countless hours sewing my own clothing and learning new techniques. When my oldest daughter was born, I stitched my very first baby quilt. That single quilt opened the door to a creative journey that has now spanned more than 30 years.
Today, quilting, sewing, embroidery, and fiber arts are more than hobbies—they're part of who I am. Every piece I create is made with care, quality craftsmanship, and the hope that it becomes a treasured part of someone else's story.
One of my greatest joys has been watching this love of making pass to the next generation. Both of my daughters discovered their own passion for quilting, and now they're joining me in this wonderful adventure. Together, Briar Hill Studio is a celebration of family, creativity, and traditions passed from one generation to the next.
